Modular Multi-Parameter Water Quality Analyzer System
The Industrial Wastewater Online Monitoring System combines water sampling, online analyzers, data acquisition and remote communication in one configurable monitoring platform.
- Product Introduction
Product overview
The Industrial Wastewater Online Monitoring System combines water sampling, online analyzers, data acquisition and remote communication in one configurable monitoring platform. It is designed for continuous monitoring of industrial discharge outlets, wastewater treatment processes and other fixed pollution sources.
A typical configuration measures CODCr, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and total nitrogen. pH, suspended solids, flow and an automatic water sampler can be added according to the wastewater characteristics and reporting requirements.

What the system monitors
|
Parameter |
Role in wastewater monitoring |
|
CODCr |
Tracks the organic pollution load and changes in treatment performance. |
|
Ammonia nitrogen |
Monitors nitrogen pollution and biological treatment performance. |
|
Total phosphorus |
Measures the total phosphorus content after digestion and colorimetric analysis. |
|
Total nitrogen |
Measures combined nitrogen compounds after alkaline persulfate digestion and UV detection. |
|
pH |
Provides continuous acidity and alkalinity data for discharge and process control. |
|
Suspended solids |
Measures solids concentration by optical absorption and scattering. |
|
Flow |
Records discharge flow when used with a compatible open-channel flow meter. |
How the system works
- The sampling pump draws a representative wastewater sample from the selected point.
- The distribution line supplies the sample to the configured analyzers. The instruments operate in parallel so that one analyzer does not interrupt the others.
- Each analyzer completes measurement, cleaning, calibration or standard-sample checks according to its operating program.
- The data acquisition unit collects readings and equipment status through RS232, RS485, analog or digital interfaces.
- Data can be stored locally and transmitted to the customer's monitoring platform through Ethernet or 4G communication.

Applications
- Industrial wastewater discharge outlets
- Wastewater treatment plants and treatment-process monitoring
- Chemical, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, metal-processing and other industrial facilities
- Municipal sewage discharge monitoring
- Aquaculture wastewater and other fixed pollution-source monitoring

Customer-side installation preparation
- Provide a clean, ventilated and dry equipment room protected from corrosive gas, vibration and strong electromagnetic interference.
- Prepare stable AC power, grounding, water supply, drainage and reliable wired or wireless network coverage.
- Keep the sample line as short as practical and select a representative intake point that remains submerged through normal water-level changes.
- Use opaque, corrosion-resistant sample piping and flush the lines before connecting the analyzers.
- Leave service clearance around each cabinet and reserve space for reagents, waste containers and future instruments.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which parameters can be included?
A: The usual configuration includes CODCr, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and total nitrogen. pH, suspended solids, flow and automatic sample retention can be added when required.
Q: Can the system transmit data to an existing platform?
A: The data logger supports common instrument interfaces and can transmit through Ethernet or 4G. Platform protocol and data format should be confirmed before configuration.
Q: Can an automatic water sampler be linked to the analyzers?
A: Yes. The optional sampler can support scheduled, flow-proportional, controlled and over-limit sample retention, subject to the final linkage design.
Q: What information is needed for a quotation?
A: Provide the industry, wastewater source, target parameters and ranges, sampling-point distance and elevation, available power and network, required communication protocol, and whether flow measurement or automatic sampling is needed.
