Surface Water Quality Monitoring Solution

Continuous water-quality data from representative sampling points across rivers, lakes, reservoirs and watershed monitoring networks.

The solution integrates the station house or compact enclosure, water intake, sample distribution, pretreatment, online analyzers, automatic control, data acquisition and auxiliary systems. The design is adapted to the water body, monitoring purpose and site conditions.

Solution overview

The monitoring point is selected to represent the target water body and remain accessible for long-term operation. The intake system transfers water to the station, where the sample is divided into analysis paths. Basic sensor parameters normally use a direct-flow path, while nutrient and organic analyzers receive suitable settling, filtration or homogenization according to the method.

The control system coordinates sampling, distribution, analysis, cleaning, calibration and alarms. The data platform displays results and station status, stores historical records, prepares reports and transmits authorized data to a remote center.

System workflow

  1. Select a representative monitoring point and suitable intake method.
  2. Collect water through the protected intake and transfer line.
  3. Distribute the sample to direct-flow and pretreated analysis paths.
  4. Measure the configured physical, chemical and nutrient indicators.
  5. Coordinate sampling, cleaning, calibration, alarms and sample retention through the control system.
  6. Store and review data, generate reports and transmit results to the confirmed remote platform.
  7. Use scheduled inspection and preventive maintenance to keep the station operating reliably.
