Measuring principle
The FTU-H4140 online turbidity meter, for medium and low turbidity ranges (less than 10NTU is low turbidity, 11-100NTU is medium turbidity, and greater than 100NTU is high turbidity), employs the 90 scattering principle. Under constant incident light conditions, within a certain turbidity range, the intensity of scattered light is proportional to the turbidity of the solution. According to the formula, we can measure the turbidity of water samples by determining the intensity of scattered light from particles in the sample. The FTU-H4140 online turbidity meter uses a combined scattering and transmission principle for high turbidity measurements.
