The DEK-2027 online cadmium analyzer employs the Dihydrogen Pyrallate Spectrophotometric Method (GB7471-87). The analytical process begins with pretreated water samples reacting with an acidic oxidizing agent in a digestion tank, which reduces all cadmium species to divalent cadmium.

The DEK-2027 online cadmium analyzer employs the Dihydrogen Pyrallate Spectrophotometric Method (GB7471-87). The analytical process begins with pretreated water samples reacting with an acidic oxidizing agent in a digestion tank, which reduces all cadmium species to divalent cadmium. The solution is then adjusted to a strongly alkaline pH level to form a red complex with dihydrogen pyrallate. A specific chromogenic reagent is subsequently added for extraction and colorimetric reactions. The absorbance of the solution is measured at 518 nm. Within the measurement range, the degree of color change directly correlates with the cadmium concentration. By quantifying this color change, the analyzer accurately calculates the total cadmium content in the water sample.
Function description
