Measurement principle
HH-1007 online total organic carbon analyzer wet oxidation-infrared detection method: after the sample is acidified to remove inorganic carbon, it enters the reaction cell through the sampling system. In the reaction cell, it chemically reacts with oxidants such as persulfate added under ultraviolet irradiation, oxidizing organic matter in the water sample into carbon dioxide and water. The generated gas passes through a moisture trap to remove water vapor before entering the non-dispersive infrared detector (NDIR). The online total organic carbon analyzer calculates the CO2 concentration based on the proportional relationship between infrared absorption and its concentration, thereby converting it to the TOC concentration in the water sample.
